Landganics is hiring 15 fit, outdoorsy crew members for the summer season to help treat weeds organically in the beautiful Teton Valley and Jackson Hole areas.

Job Summary & Responsibilities
As a Technician, you will:
Identify and remove noxious weeds using specialized hand tools and backpack sprayers with organic herbicide.
Learn to identify noxious weeds in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Be part of preserving wild places with sustainable, herbicide-free solutions.
This is a physically active role, perfect for individuals who love the outdoors. No experience required—we will train the right applicants!
Pay
$17/hr, increasing to $20/hr after passing the Idaho Applicator Exam.
$12.50/day fuel stipend (approx. $600/season).
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, starting at 7 am.
Workdays average 8–10 hours (approx. 37 hrs./week).
Field season runs May 19 – August 15.
Qualifications
Required
Dependable, flexible, eager to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit: Capable of manual labor for 8 consecutive hours (e.g., lifting 50 lbs., carrying a 45-lb. pack).
Comfortable working long days in inclement weather.
Minimum age: 18.
Desired
Experience with plant/weed identification.
Additional Perks
$12.50/day fuel stipend (approx. $600/season).
$200 referral bonus for friends hired.
Biweekly paychecks.
Past crews have organized carpools from Rexburg to Driggs.
